Slatin Pond on Ćuf promontory is a specific habitat. It actually represents a small saline wetland – a very rare type of biotope in the Kvarner region.

Remains of the ancient town of Municipium Flavium Fulfinum from the second half of the 1st century AD and an Early Christian basilica from the 5th century AD.

The church at Mirine was built in the middle of the 5^th century on the periphery of the town. It is a single-nave longitudinal basilica with a Latin-cross plan.

In the entrance area of the basilica, a sarcophagus that has never been opened was found in a hole dug into the rock. Several other tombs were later discovered in the surroundings.

Like in every Roman town, in the very centre of Municipium Flavium Fulfinum a forum was located – the main town square ehere the main functions of the urban enviroment of the Roman world met: political, religious , economic and social.

The Mirine comb is a unique archaeological artefact from the 5^th century found at the archaeological site next to a wooden bridge.
