64. Ribar - Ribarska obala

Njivice was first mentioned in the charter of King Ivan Frankopan in 1474, although the village is much older, judging by some archeological discoveries.

As Njivice has been a fishing village throughout history, today there is a statue of a fisherman with a net, and the waterfront is called Ribarska obala. At the end of 2016, a new Fisherman's Coast was built as one of the two phases of the project for the reconstruction and extension of the port of Njivice. The project is co-financed by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure.
