On the 20th and
21st of July, among the remains of the ancient town of Fulfinum Mirine near
Omišalj, took place eleventh event - Ancient days.
The event lasts
two days and is enriched with all-day program. So, on a Saturday morning were
held children's antique workshops, for the female audience it was possible to
create antique hairstyles, and there were antique crafts: blacksmith, ceramic
potter, tailor, herbalist,.. and all interested were able to try their hand in
archery.
With rich
gastronomic offer of the ancient delicacies, visitors enjoyed the beautiful
ambiance with the light of torch, appropriately decorated area, authentic
music, gladiator fights, jugglers, a plenty of costumed Romans and dance of
Romans, while Emperor and Empress comfortably accommodated on their throne
and watched all.
With its rich
program, Ancient days have become one of the inevitable events of the cultural
summer in Omišalj, attracting more and more satisfied tuorists every year.
