The summer is welcomed in by this Festival of Ice in June. It takes
place in Njivice and is organised by Njivice Resort and Omišalj Tourist Board. It
brings refreshment to the first warm summer days, and includes ice-sculpture workshops,
a wide choice of summer cocktails, and a packed entertainment programme. The Festival
of Ice is especially interesting because of its wide range of cocktails served
in glasses made of ice.
The festival programme begins at noon with live music and the sculpting of
ice sculptures, and ends with a live concert late in the evening. The festival takes
place at three locations of the Hotel Njivice: the Blue terrace, the Lounge bar
Jadran, and Cabana bar&more. Next to the Hotel Jadran, in addition to the ice
sculpture workshop, there is a fire show with simple and fresh culinary delights.
